Awakening in nature

Breakfast is one of the most important meals of the day. We are well aware of this at the “Le Arcate” holiday farm. Hence, everyday in the breakfast room, you can find everything you may desire, be it savoury or sweet We offer a buffet breakfast that boasts a range of mouth-watering specialities to whet your appetite. Everything is prepared in our kitchen such as cakes, tarts, cereals, jams, honey, cold cuts and Langhe cheeses. We also offer a cafeteria service of coffee, cappuccino, milk and tea. Absolutely everything with the goal of pleasantly awakening you in the Langhe!

It will immediately become evident that at our holiday farm lunch and dinner dishes will be ready to be served. In fact, you can smell the tempting aromas coming from the kitchen. The Tajarin (pasta) sauce is ready, the Brasato (braised beef) is simmering and the Albese (steak tartare) and the Vitello Tonnato (veal in tuna sauce) are already on trays ready to be served. Silvana, the owner of the holiday farm, is in charge of managing everyone and everything. Our chef lovingly and passionately prepares traditional dishes and everything is homemade. Our menu changes in accordance with the ingredients in season. Therefore, at lunch and dinner you will find different dishes albeit always in accordance with traditional Piedmontese cuisine: Albese steak tartare, Beef tartare, Veal in tuna sauce, Russian salad, Tomini cheese with Italian style chutney, Oven baked pepper with ‘bagna cauda’ (anchovy, cream and garlic sauce) or first courses such as ‘Plin’ agnolotti, Tajarin pasta made from 40 egg yolks and main courses such as Roast veal, Beef braised in Nebbiolo wine, Jugged rabbit and oven cooked Guinea Fowl with seasonal vegetables.

The wines express our territory to the maximum. In fact, here in the Langhe we speak of "terroir", a concept, borrowed from the tradition of French winemakers, which embodies a whole series of characteristics which then determine the quality of the wine. For example, the “terroir” takes into account the characteristics of the terrain, its slopes and its height. Or it takes account of the vineyards exposure to sun and wind. The ultimate expression of all this is the wine we produce and bottle every year in our cellars. You can taste the various qualities of wine we produce and better understand them by going to a tasting in our newly built room which will be open in September 2023. A place to meet, strike up new acquaintances and discover the true wealth of the Langhe: wine!

Aperitivo fronte Langhe

What’s better than enjoying an aperitif by the pool? In other words, enjoy an aperitif wherever you wish. We will arrange to bring it to you at your desired place. Choose one of our wines or something you would like and be part of this magical aperitif time at our holiday farm. During the summer we also serve aperitifs by the pool so that you can admire the sunset and those final relaxing moments before dinner is served. Taste our traditional canapés, salamis and cold cuts with bread or grissini whilst sipping your aperitif before partaking of either lunch or dinner depending on the time of day. Everything within the backdrop of a unique landscape: the Langhe with its hills and green expanses of vineyards.
